Welcome!
2009 is already rushing by and it’s hard to believe how much has already happened this year.
Our biggest news is that The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio found its new home in Maumee, Ohio in March. We celebrated our new location with an Open House in April. We had a great turnout as several people from the community and clients were in attendance to tour our new home. We’re excited about the upcoming possibilities that are now open to us, including continued growth in our community, residential, and vocational programs.
Coming up in 2009, our staff and Board of Trustees are working hard on fun, new events and on ensuring that our quality services remain available to all of Northwest Ohio. The Epilepsy Center continues to offer its services through information and referral, advocacy and case management, emergency medication assistance, residential, vocational, support groups and many others. The Epilepsy Center also currently runs two client homes; the Barbara Jean McDonagh home and the Jean Scott Furney home. We offer a stable, homelike environment with 24 hour staffing and nursing services available. We also have had great success with our Adult Day Services Program; a new addition to our Vocational Program which helps to foster the independence of our clients.
