Carpe Diem, meaning “seize the day,” is the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio’s annual fall run/walk at Swan Creek Preserve Metropark. This community event brings together individuals, families, and supporters of all ages and abilities to raise awareness and critical support for those living with epilepsy.
Choose your pace with a 5K run or 3K walk, and enjoy a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages participation from everyone, including leashed, well-behaved dogs. Whether you’re running for a personal best, walking in support of a loved one, or simply showing up for the cause, every step makes a difference.
What to expect:
5K run and 3K walk options
Scenic course through Swan Creek Preserve Metropark
All-ages, inclusive participation
Dog-friendly environment (leashed pets welcome)
Community-focused atmosphere with a shared purpose
Proceeds from Carpe Diem directly support programs that provide education, resources, and direct assistance to individuals and families affected by epilepsy across Northwest Ohio.
Join us as we come together to move with purpose, build community, and truly seize the day.
