Vision: The scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates courage in living with epilepsy, a strong commitment to their education, and perseverance in navigating the challenges these conditions may present.

Requirements: Applicants must be a college-bound high school senior or a current college student, with preference for those residing in Northwest Ohio or Southeast Michigan at the time of application. Applicants must have epilepsy, be under the care of a physician, and be receiving ongoing treatment. Applicants are asked to submit two essays, describing their challenges and perseverance with epilepsy and their future education and career goals.
