Epilepsy Cost Support Programs

The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio offers cost support programs to help reduce financial barriers for people living with epilepsy. Whether you need assistance with medication, transportation, seizure safety equipment, or medical identification, our team is here to help you access available resources.

  • Emergency Prescription Assistance

Emergency financial assistance for anti-seizure medications is available through our partner pharmacy for eligible individuals experiencing an urgent need. Available to patients with a valid prescription for anti-seizure or anti-convulsive medications.

  • Provides up to $500 in assistance, once per year, per patient.

  • All prescriptions covered through the program must be filled at our partner pharmacy.

  • Transportation Assistance

Transportation vouchers may be available in counties where ECNWO can purchase them directly, including:

  • EpiMonitor Reimbursement

Financial assistance may be available through reimbursement for eligible EpiMonitor seizure monitoring devices.

  • Seizure Protective Helmets

Reimbursement may be available to help offset the cost of seizure protective helmets prescribed for safety.

  • Medical ID Resources

Financial assistance through reimbursement is available for eligible medical identification items, including:

  • Medical ID bracelets

  • Medical ID necklaces
